Sources of Funds and where the Money is Spent: ________________________________________ We all know there is a problem . Question is, what are we going to do about it ? Waiting for a Political solution will not work. Only Private enterprise will succeed . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Green Cross is an Environmental Charity The Green Cross pledges to its members and all contributors that no less than 87% of all funds ,donated to the Green Cross will be utilized solely for physical projects targeted to achieve a positive physical change in the conditions of the current Environmental conditions of the Earth. The remaining 13% will be utilized to the extent overhead demands. If that percentage can be reduced, realized from practical experience, then it will. All financial accounting and carbon reduction accounting will be posted upon the web site for public inspection, to achieve true transparency and maintain the trust between the Green Cross and its members and contributors. Anything less, is not acceptable. _________________________ Environmental Charity Rules: Contributions are Tax Deductible to the extent allowed by the I.R.S. under section 501-(C)-(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Free Market Sales Of Carbon Credits (CDMs) support Environmental Charity. Because real carbon emissions reduction efforts started in Europe , The Green Cross has joined with renown European Carbon Emissions Engineers. Currently , within the Countries signatory to the Kyoto Protocol, Carbon Credits are retired for perpetuity when sold on the European Exchange at the current rate of $15. to $20. EU per the reduced metric ton of real Greenhouse Gas Emissions. Carbon Credits are created by those who reduce real CO2 emissions from current CO2 output and meet the stringent requirements under the Kyoto accord. Carbon Credits are bought by those who have exceeded their allotted CO2 emissions, and therefore are forced to buy the CO2 Credits . ![]() The Green Cross participates in the creation of those Carbon Credits by developing new scientific Renewable Energy Projects which create Real Net CO2 reduction and the sales of those European free market CO2 credits, and are a source of funding the U.S.A. based Environmental targeted projects. Each ton of CO2 Emissions Reduction creates a Carbon Credit ( CDM) which has a Registered Serial Number attached to it and is Recorded Under the Kyoto Treaty and Registered with the United Nations. When a contributing industry of the Green Cross buys a CDM, that registered Ton of Co2 is retired forever from the Kyoto Protocol and can never be re-purchased by a another Polluting Entity to allow further CO 2 Emissions. It is a Real Net Reduction in World Co2 Emissions. |
