Help fight Global Warming

What is on the HORIZON ? U.S. Environmental Policy and Kyoto Treaty

The United States is moving toward a parallel program to the Kyoto Treaty,

…. progress is coming.
Global warming federal legislative outlook.

Individual States such as California , Oregon and Washington now have stronger Environmental Laws than do the Nation.
Potential climate changes impacts on California.

Eleven North Eastern States have formed the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, http://www.rggi.org

RGGI is organized to implement reduced carbon emissions and to initiate a Market Based CO2 Emissions  Credit Trading System in the United States .

The American Bar Association is sponsoring the  development of  the legal protocol for a USA   emissions trading program , similar to the free market Kyoto Carbon Credits program .  The U.S. Congress will mirror these guidelines.

This will hopefully enable Carbon Credits to be created by verifiable emission’s reductions within the U.S.A. and allow for subsequent carbon credit sales to further fund emissions reductions projects by The Green Cross.

But the U.S.A. is years away from a National greenhouse gas reductions program and The Green Cross is moving forward now, with viable, real projects.

Cooperating Environmental Organizations

The Green Cross works with all other 501 (C) (3) Environmental Organizations in joining efforts and in supporting the funding of real physical projects which make a real impact on repairing and preserving our Environment .

Help Protect Our Environment

We’re all in the same boat.

The old saying , “what goes around , comes around” is so true today.

The  emissions of one Country become a Global problem  for all.

It is time for the American people to join the rest of the World in combating

Global Warming , de-Forestation ,  the depletion of our fisheries , and

the contamination of our water.
