 Christopher Smith Having been fortunate to have lived during the undeveloped Colorado life of the 1950s, and raised on a ranch in the Mountains, Christopher Smith acquired an early appreciation for the unspoiled environment.
After 50 plus years of observing the pristine Mountains becoming over-developed, and the Earth's population depleting the remaining Planet's forest, wilderness, oceans, and their resources, a path had to be discovered to turn away from this destructive force.
A platform had to be created which would have the strength and finances to make a real , net difference in the Earth's remaining natural Environment. A fragmented approach , at this late date, will not be powerful enough to be effective.
 The Environmental tasks facing the World today are enormous in scope and effort, and the job can only be
managed with sufficient resources of funds and dedicated people.
By gathering a group of thoughtful people, committed to protecting the Environment, who are funded and supported by the public, foundations, and the corporations, and who are focused to create a trusted and respected organization, which can gather the finances and strength to preserve and repair the Earth's Environment, was the only answer.
The Green Cross is that solution. The Green Cross provides a Universal Base for all people, from all walks of life, to have a way and a say to participate in directing and changing the course the World has been steering towards.
To garner that Universal appeal, maintain financial support, and be successful, the Green Cross must remain politically neutral, non-controversial, project completion oriented, and be trusted and verifiable.
The Green Cross is totally concentrated on being an organization which organically grows from the successful completion of its targeted Environmental projects, and prides itself in making a real, net positive difference, for the benefit of the Earth's Environment and in appreciation to the supporters of the Green Cross.
It is for that goal, which Christopher Smith founded the Green Cross, and pledges to all, to remain steadfast.

Helmut Schneider was born and raised in Germany within a family of inventors and lateral thinkers. Germany, and all other European Countries, have had $3. dollar gasoline and the mandated Environmental requirements of the Kyoto Protocol for many years . After serving duty in the German Air Force, Mr. Schneider spent years as an International Travel Agent. This career gave Helmut the opportunity to see the World and the steady decrease of environmental resources. Mr. Schneider later held the position as a Personnel Systems Repair and Division Supervisor for MasterCard International for 5 years, broadening his skills in the financing sector. As a Commercial Real Estate Broker, Helmut Schneider invested in a Frankfurt Business Hotel, where he also assumed the position of General Manager. Concurrently, Mr. Schneider consulted for other new hotel projects and developments. This Position involved the mediation of the environmental problems and threats to the ecology, within the project areas of such huge hotels and tourist developments. Helmut Schneider, Christopher Smith and Tobias Koch, all dedicated workers for the environment, decided several years ago to found The American Green Cross, bundle their skills for a higher efficiency, and to develop a momentum for Funding Environmental Projects. Through a Global Network of Renewable Energy Patent Holders and Engineers, developed over the past 20 years, Helmut Schneider and The Green Cross Board of Directors and Advisors have a clear path and vision for The Green Cross Mission of Environmental Project Funding and Completion. Helmut Schneider’s main focuses at this time are to work on new procedures, patents and inventions for a better utilization of the waste resources that remain from industrial processes, such as current the LIPOCAL synthetic diesel project involving alternative fuels made from, fat algae and other waste recovery procedures. Additionally, Mr. Schneider is involved in developing Self Sustaining Environmental tourist developments, cleaning of potable and river water, geothermal electrical production projects, and Organic Ranking Cycle (O.R.C.) technology for utilizing waste heat and much more, all of which are sanctioned under the terms of The Kyoto treaty.

Green Cross Board of Directors, Helmut Schneider, a financial consultant to GMK in Germany, writes that he and GMK are starting the construction of the Stage 2 of the LIPOCAL Synthetic Diesel production plant.
Stage One is easily burned by low r.p.m. diesels located on navigable ships and barges and by stationary electrical producing, diesel engines. Stage One LIPOCAL is carbon neutral, and costs 1/3rd to produce than plant based BioDiesel . LIPOCAL Stage 2 can be burned by any existing automobile or truck diesel engine. LIPOCAL 2 has the same low cost and absence carbon neutral CO2, which Stage One LIPOCAL has proven to have. GMK is also the patent holder and constructor of the World's most technologically advanced and environmentally safe Geothermal electrical production Plants, Bio-Mass electrical production plants , and holder of the only Organic ( O.R.C.) fluid for industrial waste heat transfer to electrical energy production , allowed under the terms of the Kyoto Protocol.
