Tsailii Rogers (say-lee) has joined The American Green Cross, AGC, as the Director of Communications, Publicist, and Chief Grant Writer.

Tsailii Rogers writes; “The Earth’s surface temperatures are drastically changing, due to the burning of fossil fuels. I want to work for the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems around the world. I believe in the goal of American Green Cross: to build awareness for the ecology and beautiful wildlife that is endangered by the burning of fossil fuels.”

Currently completing her bachelor of science in biology and chemistry from the University of New Mexico, Tsailii Roger’s education and environmental awareness fueled her desire to join the AGC. Ms. Rogers has published several reports, articles, and newsletters on environmental journals. She firmly believes that through her education and position with AGC, Ms. Rogers can help define a strategy for addressing the need to conserve our ecology and wildlife.

Ms. Rogers has a recent, successful history of writing grants through the New Mexico Council on Problem Gambling, NMCPG, a non-profit organization that has an indigent care treatment fund for problem gamblers who cannot afford treatment. The NMCPG’s grants are highly researched and formulated to incorporate NMCPG’s concerns and organization sustainability. Ms. Rogers’ grant writing clearly communicated the need for a sustainable approach to using tangible resources, as the NMCPG quickly saw results.

Prior to her experience with the NMCPG, Tsailii Rogers was a part of the “for-profit” realm of business. In 2003, Ms. Rogers held an editing position at HDTV – High Definition Technology Video, in Burbank, CA. Ms. Rogers was accountable for the proper use and application of cinematography software. She conducted extensive presentations regarding production projects, which created large-scale projects and resulted in the synchronization of HDTV’s business development.

These accomplishments created an understanding of meeting the needs of HDTV’s clients – whose business’ success relied on HDTV, while providing exceptional business experience.

Tsailii Roger’s clients ranged from major movie production corporations to small organizations. While at HDTV, Ms. Rogers discovered the power of a team working towards a mutual goal. “I was required to embrace diversity by coordinating projects with individuals from diverse backgrounds. HDTV’s high standards did not demand conformity – some of the most innovative leaders there used their diversity to obtain phenomenal results.”

Observing this approach has helped form Ms. Roger’s own learning philosophy and influences her performance today.

“With determination, research, and professionalism , I continue to implement my business experience and expand my environmental education , and am especially pleased to be writing grants for the American Green Cross Environmental Project Fund ”.
